Your new eyewear—both frame and lenses—are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery. We will repair or, if necessary, replace your frames and/or lenses at no charge due to defective parts one-time per order. The warranty does not cover personal wear and tear (such as scratched lenses), damage due to mishandling, or loss or stolen glasses.
Your prescription eyeglasses also come with extended protection for damage: Get 50% OFF replacement of same frame and/or lenses if the ones you purchased are broken or scratched within one year.
If you keep your glasses for a while, you’ll appreciate EPP Plus. This $30 plan extends EPP coverage for a second year.
*Optical benefits and other discounts cannot be used in conjunction with EPP plans. ACE Pairs, ready-to-wear suns, kids packages and frame-only purchases do not qualify for EPP Plus.
To help maintain your glasses, your lenses have been given a scratch-resistant coating, free of charge. We’re happy to clean and adjust your glasses free to keep them fitting properly for as long as you own them. Just stop into the nearest Kaiser Permanente optical shop.
Warranty above covers eyeglass purchases as of January 1, 2022. Premium frames and lenses purchased prior to this date remain covered under the previous “One-Year Unconditional Warranty.” If you purchased a warranty upgrade, your eyeglasses remain covered under the previous “One-Year Unconditional Warranty.” Please talk to a Kaiser Permanente optician about your warranty or email KPWA.firstname.lastname@example.org.
